The Rockets teased and taunted, but mostly they dared the Nets. The game plan was clear. They invited the Nets to take all those 3s, but the paint would be off limits. With their offense back in gear and James Harden back to his closer role, all that was left was to stop the Nets on the other end. The Nets hit 3s, and lots of them. But the Rockets owned the lane and when the Nets needed string together 3-pointers down the stretch they could not, with the Rockets holding on with little difficulty, 119-106, giving them three wins in four games since their losing streak.
