No Predictions, but Tigers' Austin Jackson to Work on Stealing Bases

Austin Jackson isn’t making any predictions on how many stolen bases he’ll have this season. He learned his lesson when he once predicted he’d steal 40.

“I’m done setting numbers,” Jackson said.

He’d definitely like to have more than a dozen, his total from last season. He stole 27 bases in 2010 and 22 in 2011.

“It’s a part of my game that I’d like to take advantage of,” Jackson said today at Comerica Park. “I didn’t do such a great job of it last year.
