Battle Of The Big Boys: LSU At Georgia

Bleacher ReportAnalyst IApril 3, 2009

Most movies or stories endwith the good guy and bad guy duking it out to the bitter end where the bad guy is usually done away with. Its a battle of the titans, two dominating powers resisting one another until they have no strength left.

That's what SEC baseball fans will get tonight, the battle of the titans, not just of the SEC but of the national college baseball scene.

Tonight, the #2 ranked LSU Fighting Tigers will face the #1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs at Foley Field in Athens, Georgia.

Trust me, you want to watch or listen to this game, its going to be big.

This series will not be an end to the losing teams season but it will be a big part of how their season turns out.

These teams were the only two out of the SEC to go to the College World Series last year and both have chances to go again this year.

Tonight's game will begin at 6:00 PM (all times CDT), Saturday's game at high noon, while Sunday's version of the series will begin at 11:00 AM.

I can't wait, it's going to be big and I'm going to be cheering for the Tigers. Are you ready for some baseball?
