Two offensive powerhouses match up tonight in Fort Worth as the No. 22 Horned Frogs of TCU host the No. 18 Lobos of New Mexico.

New Mexico enters the series with a nation-leading .405 team batting average, and 11.5 runs per game average. The Lobos are led by sophomore outfielder Ryan Honeycutt's .511 average.

The Frogs are coming out of one of the largest home slumps in the Jim Schlossnagle era, with a 3-6 record in their last 11 games.  The Horned Frogs mounted a narrow win against the University of Texas-Arlington Wednesday in Fort Worth, and just came out of a series against Stephen Strasburg's San Diego State Aztecs.  TCU dropped the series against the Aztecs, 2-1.

The probables for Friday night are Tyler Lockwood (1-1, 5.68 ERA) for the Horned Frogs and John Hesketh (4-0, 2.31 ERA).

Saturday's starters will be Paul Gerrish (2-0, 2.35 ERA) for the Frogs and Travis Dirk (4-1, 5.40 ERA) for the Lobos.

Sunday's starters will be freshman Kyle Winkler (1-0, 4.30 ERA) against Bobby Moore (4-0, 3.51 ERA).

The Horned Frogs have struggled since starting out hot, taking their opening series against Cal State Fullerton.
