Everton's dramatic, late victory at Bolton was tarnished by another injury setback for Kevin Mirallas who was withdrawn after just 17 minutes with what appeared to be a recurrence of his hamstring injury.

Speaking after the match, David Moyes played down the severity of the injury, suggesting that his substitution was precautionary, but his refrain was similar last month and the Belgian spent six weeks out of action.

"It's his hamstring," Moyes said, "but we don't think it's as bad as we thought. We missed him after he went off. He helps our flow."
