EAST LANSING — Michigan State will not renew the contract of football defensive line coach Ted Gill, the school announced in a release Friday evening.

“Ted Gill’s contract runs through March 31, 2013, and will not be renewed," MSU coach Mark Dantonio said in a statement. "He has been a contributing member of my coaching staff for nine years, including the last six seasons here at Michigan State. I wish Ted the best in his future endeavors.”
