Arsène Wenger says it was Thomas Vermaelen’s decision to give the captain’s armband to Jack Wilshere on Wednesday night. The Arsenal skipper sustained an ankle injury in the 5-1 victory against West Ham and was substituted in the 58th minute at Emirates Stadium.
