It was announced on WWE.com Friday afternoon that eight NXT Superstars would compete in a tournament for the right to enter the 2013 Royal Rumble match. According to the website, the men competing in the tournament include:

  • Corey Graves
  • Oliver Grey
  • Bo Dallas
  • Xavier Woods
  • Conor O'Brian
  • Adrian Neville
  • Leo Kruger
  • Luke Harper

 

The tournament will take place at the Royal Rumble fan fest this weekend.

In recent weeks, Bo Dallas (the son of Mike "IRS" Rotundo) has competed at WWE live events and appears poised to be called up to the main roster any day now. A victory in the tournament and a place in the Rumble match would speed up that process and inject the company with some new blood as it heads into WrestleMania season.

Woods, Kruger and Graves have also toured with the main roster over the last year and either one of those three could pull off the win that launches their WWE career.
