After last week's shocking heel turn by Tazz, who joined Aces and Eights, the Thursday, Jan. 24 edition of TNA Impact! Wrestling opens with exclusive video footage from the aftermath of the group's attack after the Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan wedding.

Backstage, Aces and Eights arrive on their motorcycles and head into the Impact! Zone. After another video package, Aces and Eights, including Tazz, come out to the ring to officially open the show. Tazz grabs the microphone and begins to speak.

Tazz starts to explain himself, saying why he had to join Aces and Eights. He discusses the TNA front office, telling company president Dixie Carter that Aces and Eights will be taking over.

Match No. 1: Velvet Sky vs. Tara for the TNA Knockouts Championship

Your winner via pinfall to retain the TNA Knockouts title: Tara. Jesse helped Tara earn the victory by holding on to Sky's leg, preventing her from breaking the three-count. A very good opening and Knockouts division match. TNA always seems to do solid work with its Knockouts crew.

Match Rating: 3/5.

Joseph Park comes out to the ring and says that he believes his hard work has allowed him to have a place in TNA. He mentions that TNA will be airing Impact! Wrestling from Manchester, United Kingdom next week. Park says the whole world will see him earn his first victory in TNA.

Match No. 2: Kenny King and Zema Ion vs. Rob Van Dam and Christian York

Your winners via pinfall: Kenny King and Zema Ion. Solid X-Division tag team match, with plenty of action toward the tail end of it. Despite the loss, York continues to perform well in TNA and certainly has a bright spot in the division's future.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

After a video package recapping last week's wedding aftermath, Ray and Brooke come out to the ring. Ray shows his frustration on the microphone and speaks about how Tazz hurt so many people after joining Aces and Eights. Ray begs Brooke's father, Hulk Hogan, to lift his suspension so he can get his hands on the Aces and Eights members.

Sting interrupts and joins Ray and Brooke in the ring. He pushes for Hogan to lift Ray's suspension next week in the United Kingdom.

Match No. 3: Bobby Roode vs. Hernandez

Your winner via pinfall: Bobby Roode. Despite an argument at ringside, Roode and Aries could truly make a very dominant tag team. Their feud with Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero should continue to pop up on TNA television in order for Aries and Roode to have a shot at the Tag Team Championship belts.

Decent match that saw two power wrestlers battling it out in the ring. Thanks to the help of Aries, Roode saw his hand raised at the end of the match.

Match Rating: 3/5.

With Kurt Angle in the ring, he calls out Mr. Anderson. Mr. Anderson speaks first and tells Angle he has no plans to fight him next week on Impact! Wrestling. Instead, Mr. Anderson throws the first punch at Angle. However, Angle forces Mr. Anderson outside the ring and tells him they will have a steel cage match on next week's show.

Daniels vs. Hardy for the TNA World Title

Match No. 4: Christopher Daniels vs. Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Your winner via pinfall to retain the TNA World Heavyweight title: Jeff Hardy. Although he was unable to capture the title, Daniels had a good main event with Hardy, as there was plenty of in-ring action by both wrestlers.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

After the match, Tazz walks down the entrance way and distracts Hardy, allowing a member of Aces and Eights to attack Hardy's leg. Hardy is shown grabbing his leg as Impact! Wrestling closes.
