Europe's Most Underrated Strikers

We all know who the big-hitting, superstar strikers are in Europe right now. But who are the guys doing all the work but getting none of the credit?

How about Tottenham’s Jermain Defoe? He’s scored 10 Premier League goals this season, but all the attention at Spurs goes to Gareth Bale.

AC Milan’s Giampaolo Pazzini is another who gets overlooked. Pazzini has 10 in 19 games in Serie A—including his recent tribute to Pele against Bologna—but Milan’s story has been all about Stephan El Shaarawy.

Antonio Di Natale is even more prolific. The veteran Udinese striker has 14 goals to his name, but everybody seems to be talking about Edinson Cavani instead.

And what of U.S. international Jozy Altidore, who’s on a goal binge in the Dutch league this season? Why aren’t we hearing more about him?

Could we also argue Luis Suarez is underrated? B/R’s Michael Cummings does in this clip, but Will Tidey thinks Suarez gets all the credit he deserves and more.
