SANTA CLARA -- Outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks, one of the 49ers' defensive standouts in their NFC Championship Game victory, did not practice Thursday due to a sore left shoulder. Brooks sustained an unspecified shoulder injury in the first quarter of the 49ers' 28-24 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He exited the game for three snaps on the second drive of the game but returned to action for the remainder of the game. Veteran Clark Haggans replaced Brooks when he was out of action.
