Franchise player Joey Votto should be ready to go for spring training, Reds GM Walt Jocketty said Thursday. The first baseman had two knee surgeries in 2012, and he missed 48 games from mid-July through early September.
“Everything as far as we know is good,” Jocketty said.
Matt Krause, the Reds’ strength and conditioning coordinator, recently visited Votto’s offseason home in Florida.
