Bruins-Thomas Agree To Three-Year Extension

Boston's sports talk radio station WEEI, as well as ESPN, report that goaltender Tim Thomas and the Boston Bruins have agreed to a three-year contract extension.
"John Buccigross and Matt Barnaby reported on ESPN SportsCenter that the Bruins will call a press conference this weekend to announce an agreement on an extension with goalie Tim Thomas. Thomas is considered a top candidate for the Vezina Trophy, honoring the NHL's best goaltender. The 34-year-old is in the final season of a three-year deal," according to the ESPN report.
