Jordan Wilkins, the dynamic 4-star all-purpose back out of Tennessee, has officially signed with Ole Miss, according to Ole Miss Spirit's Ben Garrett. Considering his skill set, Rebels fans have to be thrilled.

Wilkins is ranked 10th at his position in the 2013 recruiting class by 247Sports.com's composite rankings. In addition to being courted by several big-time schools during the recruiting process, ranging from the SEC to the Big Ten to the ACC to the Big 12, he made an official visit to Ole Miss in January.

At 6'2", 205 pounds, Wilkins has the combination of size, speed and cutback ability to be a difference-maker at the next level, particularly when he adds some bulk. He excels as a downfield runner, but he also displays the vision, balance and footwork to bounce to the outside when necessary.

Wilkins also has impressive speed for being a 200-pound running back, exhibiting the burst to get through the hole quickly and get past defenders at the second level. 247Sports shows that his 40-time is a flashy 4.41 seconds. While he doesn't necessarily have breakaway speed down the field, he will still go for long runs based on his quick burst and initial speed.

Never one to go down easily, he often pushes the pile and racks up yardage after contact due to his decisiveness and power.

This talented prospect should have no trouble adjusting to the college game based on his style of running and ability to take big hits.

Overall, Wilkins is a player who may not have the consistent home-run ability to be a star in college, but he has the tools to be an impact starter who will move the chains and break off a long run for a touchdown once in a while.
