Former All-American Linebacker Sean Lee is back, determined, and ready to make a huge impact for the 2009 Penn State Nittany Lions.

After shattering his ACL during spring practice last season, Lee was forced to miss the entire 2008 campaign. He was expected to be a top class draft pick in the 2008 NFL draft if he was able to compete.

Now as a 5th year redshirted senior, Sean Lee is ready to lead his team to glory

When asked about his knee now, Lee is very positive. He told reporters, “It’s great, 100 percent, ready to go.” Even though he is not expected to compete in the annual Blue-White game on April 25 just as a precaution, that can't stop Lee's competitiveness, “I don’t think it has anything to do with the knee. “If I had to play tomorrow, I could.”

All sounds well so far for the hard working senior. Expect him to be named team captain in a few weeks... a position that he deserves more than anybody else.

Watch out for the record book as well this season, he could graduate form Penn State being the all-time tackler from the program. And that's saying something when you go down the list of former Linebacker U standouts.
