The 34th goal of Kyle Turris' NHL career was "special." Not just because it was one of three he has scored in two games this season, or because it proved to be the winner in Monday's 4-0 blanking of the Florida Panthers. No, this one will be savoured by the Senators centre because it was the first set-up, at this level, by his best friend. Rookie Patrick Wiercioch made a great, cross-slot pass and Turris one-timed a shot from a tough angle in a re-enactment of a play the two have worked on since they were nine years old.
