She may have been lost in the shuffle before the new year, but Katherine Webb is now a bona fide celebrity, so it's not surprising she will star in a new reality series, also featuring Ndamukong Suh, called "Celebrity Diving."
TMZ reports (h/t Busted Coverage) the woman whose claim to fame was merely standing in support of her boyfriend, A.J. McCarron, will now feature in primetime, thanks to a new show that is all about celebs taking a dive:
TMZ has learned the reigning Miss Alabama USA -- aka the hot girlfriend of Alabama QB A.J. McCarron -- will be a contestant on the upcoming ABC show "Celebrity Diving."
We obtained pics of Katherine on the L.A. set today with some of her co-stars ... a cast that includes Detroit Lions badboy Ndamukong Suh, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Nicole Eggert, Kendra Wilkinson, Louie Anderson, Drake Bell, Chuy from the E! Network, and Keshia Knight Pulliam.
So I guess they just, like, dive into a pool.

I am guessing the impetus for you tuning it will be less about world-class diving form and more about Katherine Webb in a bikini, perhaps Suh in a swimsuit for fewer of you.
Fox News helps us out a bit more on the particulars; the celebs will be trained by professionals and will be judged by "Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis, and by David Boudia, who won the gold medal for diving at the 2012 Olympics."

What makes this odd is it seems Webb is picking her endeavors carefully, so diving into the pool alongside the likes of the Lions star and Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar must have seemed like a great thing.
While she will feature in the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, she has nixed rumors of her appearing in Dancing with the Stars as well as a move to New York City.
In a year when madness reigns supreme, Ndamukong Suh will be diving into a pool and nobody will care. Instead, it's all about A.J. McCarron's girlfriend who is still America's sweetheart.
