The Ottawa Senators announced today they have reassigned goaltender Robin Lehner to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Lehner, 21, served as Craig Anderson’s back-up in each of Ottawa’s first two games this season. In 21 AHL contests in 2012-13, he has already established a new professional career high with 14 wins and currently ranks second among AHL goaltenders in save percentage (0.945%) and is third in goals-against-average (1.90).
