The Missouri football team addressed a position of need with one of the best defensive linemen left on the recruiting market. Josh Augusta, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle from Peoria, Ill., chose Missouri over Illinois, Michigan State and Mississippi, he confirmed Sunday night in an email. High school players can sign national letters of intent on Feb. 6.

“It was just a good atmosphere,” Augusta told Rivals.com of his December visit to Missouri. “There were a lot of players I connected with. They were real cool.”
