I hope you are ready, because the next couple of weeks will be chockablock full of companies leaking their Super Bowl ads, a new way to get bang out of the millions they spend on big-game commercials.
In a move that seems more in keeping with surprising the nation on Super Sunday, Mercedes-Benz released a 90-second teaser ad that did just that, teased.
You all remember Kate Upton? She was the hottest entity in the world about one Katherine Webb and a Gangnam Style ago.
The former cover girl for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is back doing what she does best, getting your jaw to lay lifeless on the ground.
The commercial is easy to explain: It's Upton promising to wash a car in nothing more than a tank top and jean shorts.
Instead, we see she is merely standing by as a bunch of football players wash the car for her. It's hardly a twist that has us chuckling, but the ad does it's job in making us want to watch more.
A quick look at their website offers another trailer, promising something "powerful" on February 3. The hope is the two are linked and that we will see a great deal more Upton on Super Bowl Sunday.
As it stands, this particular ad needed far more cowbell.
