Tom Izzo admits he's never bought into the theory of a player leading by example.
To the Michigan State coach, a leader has to do more than simply play hard. He needs to be vocal and push those around him to become better. He's had some of the best, including Mateen Cleaves and Draymond Green.
But this season, a natural leader has been hard to find.
