New Tennessee coach Butch Jones sent a letter to parents of football players last week to introduce himself and invite parents to a Family Day barbecue on March 16.
Parents of players, Jones wrote, are welcome to call him at any time.
"I look forward to meeting you and being part of your son's life," Jones said.
