These Guys Never Give Up: Athletes That Defy the Age Factor
1. Jack Nicklaus
Won the 1986 Masters at age 46. He shoots 69 and 65 on the money days to defeat Tom Kite by a stroke at nine under par.
2. George Foreman
Won the Heavyweight title at age 45. He knocks out 26-year-old Michael Moorer in the 10th round. He probably lost every round in the fight until he knocked the guy out, but it looked like a classic rope-a-dope strategy that payed off.
3. Nolan Ryan
Pitched the seventh no-hitter of his career on May 1, 1991 at age 44.
4. Kurt Warner
Led the Arizona Cardinals to their first Super Bowl in 2009 at the age of 37. He threw for over 400 yards in a losing effort. The game gave him the top three passing yardage performances in Super Bowl history.
5. O.J. Anderson
Led the New York Giants to a Super Bowl Victory over the Buffalo Bills at age 34. Anderson rushed for 102 yards on 23 carries and a TD. He was named MVP of the Super Bowl. He also gave Mark Kelso one of the most wicked stiff arms I've ever seen on a football field.
