Tony Stewart said he hasn't declined Roger Penske's invitation to race in the Indianapolis 500 forever, just this season. Or at least, that's Stewart's hope.
The responsible driver/team owner/track owner/businessman side of his persona was to blame for him not accepting the dream opportunity immediately, he said. And he hates that. The pure competitor side of him is still fuming...
