Darren Collison got a chance to close a game and delivered.

Collison, the starting point guard who sat and watched 37-year-old Mike James play down the stretch of the previous two games, drilled a corner 3-pointer with 31 seconds remaining that pushed the Mavericks’ lead back to five points in Sunday’s win over the Orlando Magic.
