Two losses to rival Iowa last season prevented Wisconsin from winning the Big Ten Conference men’s basketball title outright.
A 70-66 loss to the Hawkeyes Saturday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena dropped UW out of first place in the Big Ten.
Iowa, which started three freshmen, a sophomore and a junior against an experienced UW team, used a 12-2 run to take control early.
