The injury-riddled Minnesota Timberwolves (17-20) used a big fourth quarter to help them easily dispatch of the Houston Rockets (21-21), 92-79, Saturday night in Minneapolis.

Center Chris Johnson and forward Mickael Gelabale were both recently signed to 10-day contracts by the T-Wolves, and both came up huge in the fourth in this one.

The Timberwolves entered the fourth up by four points. Then the freshly-inked duo went to work, as they scored Minnesota's first 23 points of the quarter—which was more than the 20 points the listless Rockets could muster as a team for the period.

The Rockets shot a miserable 32.1 percent for the contest and turned the ball over 20 times. They have now lost seven straight.

Player of the Game: Andrei Kirilenko

Andrei Kirilenko was great on both ends of the court in this one. He finished with a game-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting, 11 boards and three steals in 42 minutes of action.

What's Next

The Rockets will finish off their current four-game road trip on Monday against the Charlotte Bobcats. If they lose that one, it will be time to panic in Houston.

The Timberwolves will travel to Atlanta and take on the Hawks in a Monday matinee.
