With Michigan State and Ohio State squaring off, excitement usually is the prevailing emotion.

Saturday night at Breslin Center was no exception.

Keith Appling scored 15 points, including the last four as No. 18 Michigan State knocked off No. 11 Ohio State, 59-56, in front of a packed house.

Ohio State's Deshaun Thomas scored 28 points but never got a chance in the Buckeyes' final two possessions. Aaron Craft misfired on one 3-pointer followed by an ugly miss from Shannon Scott in the final seconds...
