Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M Aggies boast arguably the hottest recruiting program in the nation right now.

Much of that can be attributed to the Aggies' success on the field last season, and of course Johnny Manziel's Heisman wining freshman campaign created a ton of hype as well.

The chance to play with Manziel has garnered the Aggies a ton of attention with elite offensive recruits. As a whole though, Sumlin and his staff have done a great job bringing in top-notch recruits on both sides of the ball.

Let's get to know Texas A&M's 2013 recruiting class:

Note: Information via 247Sports.com, ESPN.com or Scout.com unless otherwise noted. Star rankings according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Via 247Sports

Height: 6'4''

Weight: 204 lbs.

Position: WR

Stars: 4-star

School: Sandy Creek High School (GA), Fork Union Military Academy

2012 Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: South Carolina, Auburn

Commit Date: 12/2/12, Signed: 12/19/12

Analysis:

JaQuay Williams will make an impact right away for the Aggies. He's a big, possession receiver and he'll be extremely effective in Texas A&M's offense. He'll push for a starting job right away, but either way Williams will be on the field a lot for the Aggies.

Tommy Sanders

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'1''

Weight: 210 lbs.

Position: OLB

Stars: 3-star

School: Butler Community College, Crisp County High School (GA)

2012 Stats: 70 TCK, 20 TFL, 8 SCK, 1 INT, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 INTTD

Other Finalists: Ohio State, South Carolina

Commit Date: 12/18/12, Signed: 12/19/12

Analysis:

Tommy Sanders was a huge pickup for the Aggies and he'll definitely challenge for the starting outside linebacker position that is vacated now that Sean Porter has moved on. He'll be very productive on the edges and in open space. Sanders is the No. 2 ranked JUCO outside linebacker recruit for 2013 (247Sports Composite Rankings).

Brett Wade

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'1''

Weight: 212 lbs.

Position: ILB

Stars: 3-star

High School: Kennedale High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Baylor, West Virginia

Commit Date: 5/23/12, Enrolled: 12/19/12

Analysis:

Wade is a very intriguing linebacker recruit. He's ranked as an inside linebacker but he could fit best on the edges for Texas A&M. He's only 212 pounds, but he does run a 4.70 40 (247Sports). With Sean Porter moving on, the need for depth at outside linebacker is there. Wade could be a good depth player at outside linebacker, but either way his versatility will be valuable for Texas A&M.

Cameron Clear

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'6''

Weight: 265 lbs.

Position: TE

Stars: 3-star

School: Arizona Western College, Central High School (TN)

2012 Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Tennessee, Alabama

Commit Date: 11/27/12, Signed: 12/9/12

Analysis:

Cameron Clear is a very big tight end prospect and he could end up being very good for the Aggies. At 6'6'', 265 pounds he'll present a huge mismatch in the secondary and he's also more than big enough to stay in and be a blocking tight end. I expect he'll see the field in the red zone as an extra option, but his biggest role will be as a blocker.

Reggie Chevis

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'1''

Weight: 247 lbs.

Position: ILB

Stars: 3-star

High School: Sharpstown High School (TX)

Senior Stats:  N/A

Other Finalists: LSU, Oklahoma

Commit Date: 6/12/12, Signed: 12/14/12

Analysis:

Chevis has great size for a linebacker at 6'1'', 247 pounds. He'll be a very valuable player in goal-line situations, and I expect Texas A&M will put him on the field when they really need to stop the run. He'll be a big-time situational and depth player for the Aggies right away.

Alex Sezer

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 5'10''

Weight: 180 lbs.

Position: ATH/RB

Stars: 3-star

High School: Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 1,286 YD, 17 TD

Other Finalists: N/A

Commit Date: 6/17/12, Signed: 12/19/12

Analysis:

Sezer is ranked as an athlete, so he'll be able to do a lot of things for the Aggies. He's very quick, so he could end up being a change-of-pace back for Texas A&M. I also wouldn't count him out as a slot player or special teams guy either. Overall, Sezer will be a very valuable member of this class.

Jordan Points

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'3''

Weight: 255 lbs.

Position: SDE

Stars: 3-star

High School: Rockwell-Heath High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: N/A

Commit Date: 5/24/12, Signed: 12/19/12

Analysis:

Jordan Points will be a very good option for the Aggies on the defensive line. He has good height and decent size, and he could end up being a great rotational player for Texas A&M on the front line. He runs a 4.80 40 according to 247Sports, so he's a player that can be effective on the edges or as a pass-rusher.

Jeremiah Stuckey

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'6''

Weight: 285 lbs.

Position: OT

Stars: 3-star

School: City College of San Francisco, Terra Nova (CA)

2012 Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: N/A

Commit Date: 11/18/12, Signed: 12/19/12

Analysis:

Jeremiah Stuckey will be an experienced option at offensive tackle for the Aggies. He has very good size at 6'6'', 285 pounds and he is the No. 8 ranked JUCO offensive tackle according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He'll be in the competition for the starting gig at left tackle once Jake Matthews moves on.

Ricky Seals-Jones

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'5''

Weight: 230 lbs.

Position: WR/ATH

Stars: 5-star

High School: Sealy High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: LSU

Commit Date: 12/10/12

Analysis:

Ricky Seals-Jones is going to become a star receiver in Texas A&M's system. He has terrific height and good speed. He's a receiver that can be a deep threat, but he'll also be extremely effective across the middle and on intermediate routes. He may not be deemed a starter right away, but he'll see the field a lot in his freshman season.

Isaiah Golden

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'2''

Weight: 330 lbs.

Position: DT

Stars: 4-star

High School: Carthage High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Oklahoma, TCU, Arkansas

Commit Date: 1/28/12

Analysis:

Isiah Golden is a very talented defensive tackle and his size will allow him to compete for playing time right away. At 330 pounds he projects to be dominant in the A-gaps as a 1-technique or nose tackle. He'll most likely be behind Kirby Ennis, but once Ennis moves on Golden will be the guy who replaces him as a full-time starter

Sebastian LaRue

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 5'11''

Weight: 195 lbs.

Position: WR

Stars: 4-star

High School: Santa Monica High School (CA)

Senior Stats: 51 REC, 868 YD, 8 TD

Other Finalists: USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State

Commit Date: 1/25/13

Analysis:

LaRue has the chance to be a very good wide receiver in Texas A&M's system, especially in the slots. He's extremely fast and shifty, and he'll be very effective running after the catch. He runs a 4.38 40 according to 247Sports. He's also a player that can be utilized as a punt or kick returner. He'll be a very important player for the Aggies right away.

Derrick Griffin

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'7''

Weight: 210 lbs.

Position: WR

Stars: 4-star

High School: Terry High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 36 REC, 592 YD, 14 TD

Other Finalists: N/A

Commit Date: 1/6/12

Analysis:

Derrick Griffin has star potential for A&M. His height will obviously be great in the red zone but he's also a receiver that can be effective between the 20s. What I really like about Griffin is his ability to block, and that skill will be very useful in A&M's scheme. Griffin will the the field as a freshman, especially in red zone situations.

Kohl Stewart

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'3''

Weight: 190 lbs.

Position: QB

Stars: 4-star

High School: St. Pius X High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 2,535 YD, 28 TD

Other Finalists: Florida, Alabama

Commit Date: 7/23/11

Analysis:

Johnny Manziel is the starter for Texas A&M and he will be until he goes to the NFL or runs out of eligibility. Having a few capable backups is always integral for a program though, so that's what makes Stewart a very important commitment. He's a very talented quarterback recruit (No. 11 pro-ranked quarterback according to the 247Sports Composite) and he'd be a great redshirt option right away to create separation between him and Manziel.

Laquvionte Gonzalez

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 5'10''

Weight: 155 lbs.

Position: WR

Stars: 4-star

High School: Cedar Hill High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 34 REC, 441 YD, 4 TD, 179 RUATT, 1,421 RUYD, 20 RUTD

Other Finalists: Ohio State, Oklahoma

Commit Date: 3/8/12

Analysis:

Gonzalez is going to be very good as a slot receiver for A&M. He's only 5'10'', 155 pounds, but he runs a 4.50 40 according to 247Sports. He has good speed and should be able to be very effective in the slot or even as a deep-threat receiver up the seams.

Justin Manning

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'3''

Weight: 275 lbs.

Position: DT

Stars: 4-star

High School: Justin F. Kimball High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Oklahoma, LSU, TCU

Commit Date: 12/6/12

Analysis:

Justin Manning has star potential as a defensive tackle, and he will go down as a massive recruiting win for the Aggies. He has great size and he compliments that with good quickness and technique. Manning will be able to come in right way and compete for a starting job as a 3-technique on the Aggies defensive line. Even if he's not the starter right away, he'll be a major part of the rotation as freshman.

Ishmael Wilson

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'5''

Weight: 292 lbs.

Position: OT

Stars: 4-star

High School: Bishop Dunne High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: LSU

Commit Date: 2/18/12

Analysis:

Wilson is a very talented offensive tackle and he'll be a big part of the Aggies offensive line of the future. He has good size and he's ranked as the No. 14 overall offensive tackle in the country according to the 247Sorts composite. Jake Matthews should move over to left tackle next season and the Aggies have plenty of other options they can use at right tackle. Wilson may want to redshirt this year, but he can also be a very important backup for the Aggies.

Kameron Miles

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'2''

Weight: 195 lbs.

Position: S

Stars: 4-star

High School: West Mesquite High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Tennessee

Commit Date: 11/14/12

Analysis:

Howard Matthews and Toney Hurd should step up into the starting spots this season, which means the Aggies will have a major need for depth at safety. That makes Kameron Miles a huge commitment for Texas A&M, and he'll put himself into position to move into one of the starting spots once Hurd moves on.

Kyrion Parker

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'3''

Weight: 195 lbs.

Position: WR

Stars: 4-star

High School: Manvel High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: LSU

Commit Date: 6/24/12

Analysis:

Parker is another big wide receiver commitment for Texas A&M. He has great size at 6'3'', 195 pounds and he runs a 4.60 40 according to 247Sports. Even with players like Mike Evans, Malcome Kennedy, Sabian Holmes, Derel Walker, Seals-Jones, Gonzalez and Griffin ahead of him on the depth chart, Parker is talented enough to compete to get in the rotation as a freshman.

Hardreck Walker

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'2''

Weight: 282 lbs.

Position: DT

Stars: 4-star

High School: Westfield High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Oklahoma

Commit Date: 7/1/12

Analysis:

Hardreck Walker is a big defensive tackle who projects to play well at the 3-tech in Texas A&M's scheme. The issue here is that he'll have to compete with Manning, Alonzo Williams a number of other talented defensive lineman as well if he wants to see the field as a freshman. Walker could end up being a very good rotational player for the Aggies, but he may want to redshirt his freshman season.

James White

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'0''

Weight: 220 lbs.

Position: RB

Stars: 4-star

High School: Glenda Dawson High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 2,185 YD, 28 TD

Other Finalists: Baylor

Commit Date: 2/19/12

Analysis:

James White has a lot of potential as a running back for Texas A&M. He'll have the likes of Ben Malena, Trey Williams and Brandon Williams in front of him on the depth chart though, so taking a redshirt in Year 1 could be smart. He's a big back and in time he could be a major part of the Aggies offense. He'll have to be patient though.

Noel Ellis

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 5'10''

Weight: 170 lbs.

Position: CB

Stars: 4-star

High School: Edna Karr High School (LA)

Senior Stats: 8 INT, 4 INTTD

Other Finalists: Auburn

Commit Date: 6/14/12

Analysis:

The Aggies are pretty deep in the secondary with Deshazor Everett and De'Vante Harris most likely occupying the starters roles. Still, Ellis is a very talented cornerback recruit and he should be able to work his way into a main backup role as a freshman. At the very least, he'll be part of the rotation by a sophomore.

Tavares Garner

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 5'10''

Weight: 170 lbs.

Position: CB

Stars: 3-star

High School: Manvel High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 39 TCK, 5 INT, 1 FR, 1 INTTD

Other Finalists: Notre Dame

Commit Date: 6/14/12

Analysis:

Garner, much like Ellis, is another recruit that will compete for time as a backup in the secondary. Where he may find an advantage is with his speed. He runs a 4.45 40 according to 247Sports and he could end up seeing the field as a nickel corner early on. The Aggies have good depth in the secondary, and Garner will play a bigger role eventually.

Victor Davis

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'1''

Weight: 178 lbs.

Position: S

Stars: 3-star

High School: Terry High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: N/A

Commit Date: 2/18/12

The Aggies are going to have a major need on the depth chart at safety in the next year or two, so Davis is going to be in the running for a major role. He'll have to work his way into the rotation as a safety, but in time he could end up being a very No. 2 at the position. He's also a player that could make an impact on special teams right away.

Jeremy Tabuyo

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 5'11''

Weight: 174 lbs.

Position: WR

Stars: 3-star

High School: St. Louis High School (HI)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Wyoming

Commit Date: 7/24/12

Analysis:

Jeremy Tabuyo is one of a handful of wideouts that will be joining the Aggies' program through this class. He'll be rather low on the depth chart though as a freshman, so he may want to consider redshirting. That said, the Aggies do utilize a lot of receivers so we'll see what the decision will be with him.

Joas Aguilar

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'4''

Weight: 290 lbs.

Position: OG

Stars: 3-star

High School: Birdville High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Baylor

Commit Date: 2/18/12

Analysis:

Joas Aguilar has a ton of potential as a guard and he's a big in-state recruit for the Aggies. That said, they are pretty well off at the guard position right now with Jarvis Harrison, Ben Compton, Shep Klinke, and Cedric Ogbuehi all able to play the position. Agulilar should take a redshirt and really work on his technique and hit the weight room for a year. In the long term, that could end up being the best course of action for the 3-star.

Jay Arnold

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'4''

Weight: 240 lbs.

Position: SDE

Stars: 3-star

High School: Rockwall-Heath High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 23 TCK, 4 SCK, 1 FR

Other Finalists: Baylor, Ole Miss

Commit Date: 4/9/12

Analysis:

Jay Arnold is a very intriguing defensive end recruit. He has decent size, but where he really stands out is with his speed. He runs a 4.70 40 according to 247Sports. He could end up being a good situational player for the Aggies, especially in obvious passing situations. He may need a season or two to really break into the rotation at defensive end though.

Shaan Washington

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'3''

Weight: 210 lbs.

Position: ATH/S

Stars: 3-star

High School: Alexandria High School (LA)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: N/A

Commit Date: 7/23/12

Analysis:

Shaan Washington is ranked as an athlete, but he will most likely be a safety at Texas A&M. He has great size for an incoming freshman at 6'3'', 210 pounds and he could end up being a surprise player from this class. With his combination of size and athleticism, he could be a major factor at safety in the future.

J.J. Gustafson

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'5''

Weight: 255 lbs.

Position: OG

Stars: 3-star

High School: Jesuit (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Oklahoma, Baylor, Kansas State

Commit Dates: 2/20/12

Analysis:

J.J. Gustafson has good height at 6'5'', but he'll probably need to put on a little more mass if he wants to compete to be starting guard in the SEC. He won't have to gain much weight, but anywhere from 10-20 pounds would do him well, as long as he doesn't lose his mobility. As a guard, being able to move to the second level or quickly pull is vital.

Jordan Mastrogiovanni

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'2''

Weight: 225 lbs.

Position: ILB

Stars: 3-star

High School: Jesuit Prep School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Oklahoma

Commit Dates: 1/6/13

Mastrogiovanni is a former Oklahoma commitment who flipped to Texas A&M right after bowl season. He has good size at 6'2'', 225 and he's a big recruit for the Aggies to keep in-state. Right now he projects to be a role player and a good special teams guy, but you never do know.

Jonathan Wiggins

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'3''

Weight: 200 lbs.

Position: S

Stars: 3-star

High School: Alief Taylor High School (TX)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Utah

Commit Date: 2/19/12

Analysis:

Wiggins has great size at 6'3'', 200 pounds and he complements that with a 4.75 40 (247Sport). His combination of size and speed give him a ton of potential as a safety, and he very well could be a surprise star from this class. He's only a 3-star, but I really like the intangibles that he's bringing to the table for Texas A&M.

Darian Claiborne

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'1''

Weight:  220 lbs.

Position: OLB

Stars: 3-star

High School: Port Allen High School (LA)

Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: TCU, Nebraska, LSU

Commit Date: 7/3/12

Analysis:

Claiborne is a big out-of-state recruiting win for the Aggies. He has very good potential as an outside linebacker and he'll compete to be in a backup role right away for the Aggies. He has good size at 220 pounds and he's the No. 23 ranked outside linebacker recruit according to the 247Sports Composite.

Kenny Hill

Via 247Sports
Via 247Sports

Height: 6'2''

Weight:  210 lbs.

Position: QB

Stars: 4-star

High School: Carroll High School (TX)

Senior Stats: 3,369 YD, 27 TD, 1,421 RUYD, 33 RUTD

Other Finalists: Baylor, Kansas State

Commit Date: 4/28/12

Analysis:

Kenny Hill is a very talented duel-threat quarterback. He has terrific size at 6'2'', 210 pounds and he's the No. 8 ranked duel-threat quarterback for 2013 according to the 247Sports Composite. Manziel won't be going anywhere for a while, and Stewart is essentially the main quarterback recruit from this class. If Hill stays aboard, expect a redshirt or even a position change.
