Unwilling to be upstaged by a younger quarterback, the recently retired Brett Favre has informed the New York Jets front office that if they acquire disgruntled Denver QB Jay Cutler that he will come out of retirement and play one more season.

"I know I can still play. I still want to play," Favre said. "If (Cutler) and I end up on the same team I'd love the opportunity to compete against him to prove that I still have what it takes...But only if I can skip training camp."
