John Cena Highly Praises Randy Orton and The Legacy in a Recent Interview

Ryan MichaelSenior Writer IIIApril 2, 2009

In a recent interview, John Cena, again, praised his archnemesis.

A few months ago, I reported that Cena said, "[Randy Orton is]certainly the best performer of my generation".  This time, he extended his praise to Orton's faction, The Legacy.  This is what John Cena had to say:

"I wouldn't mind having another go around with Randy Orton or getting in there with Legacy. I think that is the most talented group of people on the WWE roster. Randy's kind of the measuring stick. He's unbelievably talented and he just seems to bring the best out of me".

I always find it interesting when WWE superstars open up and speak candidly about the other superstars with whom they work.

John Cena has always been a class act, and I certainly respect the fact that he has been so humble when discussing his rival.

I'm not sure it's likely these two will work extensively together in the near future.  I have a feeling that Cena will get drafted to Smackdown, but, these days, you never know.

I would love to see those two go at it again. I've gone on record many times by saying that the Randy Orton vs. John Cena rivalry has the potential to be our generation's Rock vs. Austin.

I think that we will have a much clearer indication of both superstars' future after WrestleMania XXV; so we'll just have to wait and see.
