John Idzik Named Jets New General Manager
After almost three weeks and more than a dozen interviews, the Jets have named former Seattle Seahawks VP of football administration John Idzik their new general manager, according to reports from ESPN and CBS Sports.
Idzik will replace Mike Tannenbaum, who was let go a day after the team’s season-ending loss to Buffalo. Tannenbaum held the post since 2007, when he took over for Terry Bradway, the Jets senior personnel executive. He will be the team's fourth GM in 13 years.
