Best NBA Players Under 23 Years Old

They start so young these days.

The NBA is blessed with a number of under-23-year-old basketball savants who are quickly climbing the superstar hierarchy.

NBA Assistant Editors Ethan Norof and Joel C. Cordes name the rookies and recent newcomers who are poised to become league cornerstones much sooner than later.

You know the list is star-studded when youngsters like Avery Bradley, Kemba Walker, Iman Shumpert and Derrick Favors didn't make the cut. They will be around for a long time, but we're not sold that they're future superstars just yet.

A healthy Ricky Rubio would also have made the list, but the now 22-year-old didn't play enough of a lockout-shortened season last year, and is struggling to regain his mojo after missing nearly the first third of the 2012-13 campaign.
