Will Tidey@willtideySenior Manager, GlobalJanuary 17, 2013

Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi have a few things in common—they’re both left-footed, Argentine and will be remembered as football geniuses who defined their generations.

Do we really have to ask who’s greater? Can we ever really say? Of course we can’t, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth having the debate, if only to shine light of their respective achievements.

Michael Cummings votes for Messi. The four-time Ballon d’Or winner scored 91 goals in 2012 and has achieved a consistent brilliance that is truly astounding.

Listen to their arguments then make your call. Or don’t.
