The NBA is a league where hot streaks can make a season's outlook appear drastically different.

But they don't last for the entire campaign.

One element that makes hot streaks so much fun is that nobody knows when they might begin or end. The unknown excites, intrigues and elevates fan interest to an entirely new level.

James Harden has proven to be a scoring machine, but how long will that last? He's not the only young player with an impressive streak going in 2013.
