The Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned promising forward Boone Jenner to his junior team and newly acquired defenceman Tim Erixon to Springfield, Mass., of the American Hockey League.

The moves allowed the Blue Jackets to get down to the 23-man limit for their opener at Nashville on Saturday night.
