Gallardo, Maldonado to Represent Their Countries in WBC

Right-hander Yovani Gallardo and catcher Martin Maldonado joined the growing list of Milwaukee Brewers committed to playing in the World Baseball Classic this spring Tuesday. Gallardo, the Brewers' top returning starting pitcher, will play for Mexico, and Maldonado will play for Puerto Rico. MLB.com first reported those commitments. Seven Brewers now have committed to the WBC, including leftfielder Ryan Braun and catcher Jonathan Lucroy for Team USA, and relievers John Axford and Jim Henderson and infielder Taylor Green for Canada...
