Tiger Woods is rumored to have been getting quite cozy with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, going so far as to kneeling on one knee and proposing marriage.

The National Enquirer (via The Daily Mail) reports Woods has been trying his absolute best to win back his former wife.

This report originating from The National Enquirer gives us some pause. For the time being, let's consider this a wild rumor from a gossip magazine.

Though skeptical, this story is just too crazy to ignore.

Apparently, Woods and Nordegren are working on mending their relationship, which even includes a trip back to the bedroom.

Here is some of the report from The Daily Mail, which covers the rumored $200 million Woods is offering for Nordegren to take him back.

The shamed golfer, 37, is desperate to win his ex-wife back, according to the magazine and has offered the hefty pre-nup deal.

Elin, 33, who won a $110 million divorce settlement from the sportsman, is believed to have told him she will consider the proposal—but only if he includes a $350 million anti-cheating clause into the wedding contract.

Why the hell not? I mean, I'll bite.

Lance Armstrong chats with Oprah Winfrey, and Manti Te'o's story continues to swirl and devolve into an ever-growing mess of confusion; so this is just the kind of week we are having.

I will now believe anything can happen while trying to keep the cynicism that the sports world continues to remind me is more than a mere shield but a necessity.

So you can understand how a report on how Woods and Nordegren may be on the mend would seem absolutely normal at this special time in the news cycle.

It seems The National Enquirer has a source that is divulging a great many wild claims, such as the "deal was worth more than half of Tiger's $600 million fortune," one that Woods didn't even blink at.

He apparently wants Nordegren back and, per the report, got down on one knee and popped the question with a ring for Christmas.

That's hardly the more astonishing claim.

The Enquirer also alleges the couple are having sex again and a source claimed: "Tiger stopped by Elin's rental house one afternoon when their kids were out with a nanny and they had sex for the first time since the split.

"It took them both by surprise, but they've continued to find alone time when they're both at their homes in Florida."

From there, the report says Woods became jealous when he saw pictures of Nordegren on a beach in the Bahamas with some other man recently. He was relieved when he later found out the man was Nordegren's brother.

So am I to believe he didn't know what her brother looked like?

Again, we are still skeptical of the report.

It may be the bizarre and astonishing manner in which this marriage ended or just recent rumors that Woods may be getting cozy with Lindsey Vonn

Still, the sports world seems to be a new brand of nuts at the moment, so we will go ahead and reserve shock at anything that might be going down between Woods and his ex-wife.
