Thanks to 24-hour sports networks and this lovely series of tubes known as “the Internet,” every move that’s made during Major League Baseball’s offseason is analyzed to no end.

Yet, somehow, some way, some moves still don’t get the credit they deserve.

For example, how many people cared to lift a finger when Hisashi Iwakuma re-signed with the Seattle Mariners, or when Brandon McCarthy signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks? How many people understand the significance of Hiroki Kuroda re-signing with the New York Yankees, or of the Denard Span trade for the Washington Nationals?

These just so happen to be some moves that myself and B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar are giddy about. We got together to talk about why these moves are so underrated, and our ramblings were caught on video.
