Last September Shawney Kersey left the Penn State football team for "personal reasons" but it looks like he's making a return to the sport.

ESPN Nittany Nation reports that Kersey is transferring to the Thundering Herd where he will be able to compete right away. The NCAA sanctions allow players to transfer without penalty until August, a rule that applies to Kersey even though he left the team in September...
