In the absence of any preseason games, the Canucks are scrambling to make the two upcoming scrimmages – Wednesday and Thursday at Rogers Arena – as close to the real thing as possible.

Nobody want to see anybody get injured by a teammate, but head coach Alain Vigneault has told his players to play hard, like a real game.
