    Analysis:

Tracy Sprinkle is going to benefit from the fact that he's an early enrollee. He'll have time to get to know the system and the coaches, and that could end up giving him an advantage once the season rolls around.

He's only a 3-star recruit, but he has incredible size and potential at 6'4'', 250 pounds.

Evan Lisle

13 of 24

    Height: 6'5''

Evan Lisle is going to play a very important depth role right away for Ohio State, but in time he can become an excellent starting offensive tackle. He's ranked as the No. 6 offensive tackle in the country (247Sports Composite), and he's a big-time in-state recruit for Meyer and his staff.

Once Jack Mewhort moves on, Lisle is talented enough to compete to replace him.

Trey Johnson

14 of 24

    Height: 6'2''

    Weight: 218 lbs.

    Position: ILB

    Stars: 4-star

Johnson can be an aggressive linebacker with good sideline-to-sideline mobility, and he'll be very effective in open space. He'll compete for playing time in 2013.

Mike Mitchell

15 of 24

    Height: 6'4''

    Weight: 222 lbs.

    Position: OLB

    Stars: 4-star

High School: Prestonwood Christian Academy (Tex.)

    Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas A&M

    Commit Date: January 5, 2013

Ohio State could use him situationally as a pass-rusher right away, and he'll be a great player to have on special teams. Eventually, Mitchell will be one of the starting linebackers for Ohio State.

Marcus Baugh

16 of 24

    Height: 6'4''

    Weight: 225 lbs.

High School: John W. North High School (Calif.)

    Senior Stats: N/A

    Other Finalists: USC

    Commit Date: April 10, 2012

    Analysis:

Marcus Baugh is a California recruit, and he's a huge pickup for Ohio State. He has good size and is extremely talented. He's the No. 4 tight end recruit from this class (247Sports Composite).

He'll have to compete with Nick Vannett and Jeff Heuerman, but he's talented enough as a receiver to at least win the No. 2 job right away.

Gareon Conley

17 of 24

    Height: 6'1''

    Weight: 172 lbs.

    Position: CB

    Stars: 4-star

High School: Washington High School (Ohio)

    Senior Stats: N/A

    Other Finalists: Michigan

    Commit Date: December 7, 2012

    Analysis:

The great thing about Gareon Conley is that he's a former Michigan commitment, so he's sure to be a fan favorite at Ohio State. He's much more than a former Wolverine, though. Conley is ranked as a corner and an athlete, so he'll be a big addition to Ohio State's secondary. In time, this secondary unit could end up being elite, and Conley will be a big part of that as either a nickel or even the No. 2 cornerback.

Jayme Thompson

18 of 24

    Height: 6'2''

    Weight: 190 lbs.

    Position: S

    Stars: 4-star

High School: Central Catholic High School (Ohio)

    Senior Stats: N/A

    Other Finalists: Michigan, West Virginia

    Commit Date: April 1, 2012.

    Analysis:

At 6'2'', 190 pounds, Jayme Thompson has good measurables for a safety, and he runs a 4.69 40, according to 247Sports. That's a good combination of size and speed, and he displays a ton of potential.

The depth chart is going to really clear out once Christian Bryant and C.J. Barnett move on, so Thompson could find himself in a big role very soon.

Billy Price

19 of 24

    Height: 6'5''

    Weight: 310 lbs.

    Position: DT

    Stars: 4-star

High School: Austintown Fitch High School (Ohio)

    Senior Stats: N/A

    Other Finalists: Michigan

    Commit Date: February 3, 2012

    Analysis:

In Billy Price, Ohio State is getting a big, versatile lineman. He can ply both sides of the ball, but he'll most likely play defensive tackle at the college level. He has tremendous size, and he runs a 5.01 40, according to 247Sports, so he has great speed for a defensive tackle.

Price could be a valuable situational player in obvious passing situations right away for Ohio State.

Timothy Gardner

20 of 24

    Height: 6'5''

    Weight: 310 lbs.

    Position: OT

    Stars: 3-star

High School: Lawrence Central High School

    Senior Stats: N/A

    Other Finalists: Wisconsin

    Commit Date: July 28, 2012

    Analysis:

Timothy Gardner is a big offensive tackle, and he'll be a great option to have on the depth chart. He should be able to compete with Evan Lisle for time as a backup, and eventually I can see the two being great bookends at tackle for the Buckeyes.

The potential is there with Gardner, so it's going to come down to being patient for him.

Christopher Worley

21 of 24

    Height: 6'3''

    Weight: 190 lbs.

    Position: S/OLB

    Stars: 3-star

High School: Glenville High School (Ohio)

    Senior Stats: N/A

    Other Finalists: N/A

    Commit Date: January 11, 2013

    Analysis:

Cristopher Worley is a very versatile player, so Ohio State will have a ton of options regarding where to play him. He can play outside linebacker or safety, but he may end up being the best fit as a strong safety where he can make plays against the run more often than not. I'd like to see him bulk up a bit, but in time, he'll be an important player somewhere on Ohio State's defense. My guess is at safety.

Donovan Munger

22 of 24

    Height: 6'4''

    Weight: 285 lbs.

    Position: DT

    Stars: 4-star

High School: Shaker Heights High School (Ohio)

    Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: UCLA, West Virginia, Tennessee

    Commit Date:

    Analysis:

Holding on to Donovan Munger's commitment was big for Ohio State. He took an official visit to Florida State in mid-January, but Ohio State was able to weather that storm. He's a big defensive tackle at 6'4'', 285 pounds, and he has terrific potential.

Considering all of the defensive line talent Meyer has brought in through this class, OSU may want to consider redshirting Munger.

Michael Hill

23 of 24

    Height: 6'2''

    Weight: 315 lbs.

    Position: DT

    Stars: 4-star

High School: Pendleton High School (S.C.)

    Senior Stats: N/A

    Other Finalists: Clemson, Tennessee

    Commit Date: June 27, 2012

    Analysis:

Michael Hill is a very big defensive tackle at 6'2'', 315 pounds, and he projects to be a very good 1-technique for the Buckeyes. He's the No. 15 defensive tackle in the 2013 class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and he's talented enough to break the defensive-line rotation in his first year. Eventually, Hill has starter potential.

Darron Lee

24 of 24

    Height: 6'3''

    Weight: 205 lbs.

    Position: ATH/S

    Stars: 3-star

High School: New Albany High School (Ohio)

    Senior Stats: N/A

Other Finalists: West Virginia, Minnesota, Arizona State, Cincinnati

    Commit Date: June 26, 2012

    Analysis:

Darron Lee can play quarterback, but chances are Ohio State is going to utilize him as a secondary player at the college level. He has tremendous size and displays very good potential. In a year or two, he could work himself onto the field, and the Buckeyes can definitely use him as a depth player.
