Ilya Kovalchuk has hit the ice at training camp.
The Devils' leading scorer last season returned from his stint in the KHL and rejoined his NHL teammates Wednesday for a mixed scrimmage at AmeriHealth Pavilion. The game also included players from the Devils' AHL affiliate in Albany.
