The Reds first shot at Ince apparently failed but they need to take another swing.
Liverpool has been the focus of numerous transfer rumors through the last few months, one of the most exciting was the news that Tom Ince, a talented young winger who played at Liverpool during the 2010-2011 season, would be making his return to the Reds.
For a while, Reds fans were rejoicing at the news that Ince may be returning, but now, after reports that Blackpool denied Liverpool's bid for £5 million, fans are starting to question whether the move will happen at all.
Even worse, it appears that another suitor has entered the race for Ince in Swansea. According to reports from Mirror, Swansea is looking to swoop in and snag Ince for a deal somewhere closer to £7 million.
While it's not yet clear whether Liverpool is planning on upping their wager or not, they need to. The Reds need to bring Ince back to Anfield.
Ince is a prolific scorer, netting 13 goals with Blackpool so far this season, and would be a perfect fit in in one of the highest scoring teams in the Premier League. He's also a very talented playmaker and facilitator on the pitch, assisting on 10 goals so far this year with Blackpool.
One of the best reasons for Ince to come back to Liverpool is his development as a player. Playing alongside fellow scoring machine Luis Suarez will give Ince a great chance to continue progressing while also competing with fellow youngster Daniel Sturridge as the future for the Reds.
