Kentucky Wildcats Begin Spring Practices Today
Head coach Rich Brooks will put his Kentucky Wildcats through their first spring practice today.

The Wildcats are riding somewhat high after achieving three consecutive bowl victories, a first for Kentucky football.

Brooks has a number of returners coming back for the 2009 season -- 7 on offense and 5 on defense. Junior signal caller Mike Hartline will return to direct the offense, but the Wildcats have several positions to fill on the offensive line as the team lost three starters from last year's squad.

The Wildcats will get in 15 spring practices and have their Blue and White game at Commonwealth Stadium on April 25.
