Kevin Durant Gets Hilarious Text from Grandma: 'Stop Cussing so Much'

Kevin Durant is one of the NBA's two best players, and he's having a career year leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to the best record in the league, yet his grandma still has a bone or two to pick with the young fella.

After a dominant 102-90 win over the Phoenix Suns, in which Durant unleashed what may well be the dunk of the year, his grandma sent him a congratulatory text to go along with a bit of usual grandmotherly finger-wagging:

Kevin Durant Instagram'd this funny text from his Grandma. “Kev Kev stop cussing so much”…

First of all, I'm impressed by the nice "Sun(s)" pun. Sure, it was pretty obvious, but I don't know many grandmas who would pull that one out of their pockets, so props for that.

Not only do I find it amazing that Durant's grandma can text (mine has a hard-enough time not getting frustrated with touchscreen buttons), but it's completely hilarious and grandma-like that she would get on him about being a bit too blue on the court.

It's a funny thing to see, but it's also a reminder that no matter how many points you score in a game or how successful you are in your profession, there's always going to be an old lady ready to scold you.

If he keeps up his recent angry streak, the "KD Is Not Nice" campaign is going to gain a lot of steam.

It's probably best for Durant to listen to his grandma and tone down the language if he doesn't want to end up getting more texts.
