India has evened up the series against England in the second Kochi ODI this month.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was absolutely instrumental in picking up this crucial win for India, as the captain posted 72 runs, and his team went on to demolish England by a total of 127 runs.

MS Dhoni wasn’t the only star, as Ravindra Jadeja contributed 61 and helped bring things level in this epic five-match series.

It wasn’t all sunshine and roses for the host nation, as the top of the order once again faltered short of the results expected, with Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane contributing a paltry 12 runs.

Those aren’t acceptable for the side, and things will need to improve if India is going to best England in this best of five.

Keep reading for the full score and complete roster for Tuesday’s matchup.

Score

India 285 for 6 (Dhoni 72, Jadeja 61*) beat England 158 (Pietersen 42, Bhuvneshwar 3-29) by 127 runs.
