UPDATE: JOHN WALL'S REVENGE
You thought John Wall was going to let Ish Smith get away with leaping over him and blocking his shot? Please.

--End of Update--
If you're looking for the most impressive athletic feat of the season, Orlando Magic point guard Ish Smith just threw his name into the conversation.
With just under 10:00 remaining in the second quarter of a game between the Magic and Washington Wizards, Smith proved that gravity does not apply to him. Nor do any of the other laws of physics.
John Wall took a crisp entry pass with Smith trailing behind. Wall would proceed to pump fake and bend at, roughly, a 50-degree angle.
The 6'0" Smith proceeded to leap right over the 6'4" Wall and landed on his feet on the opposite side of him. With the path seemingly clear, Wall went up with a fadeaway.
With no hesitation, Smith recovered and sent the shot in the other direction.
Evan Dunlap of The Orlando Pinstriped Post offered up some praise for the Magic guard. He also gave him credit by name, which one Washington D.C. blog appeared unable to do.

Don't worry, Ish. Bleacher Report knows who you are.
This may not be a breathtaking dunk or an unbelievable bounce pass, but it displayed Smith's phenomenal athletic ability. Perhaps most important of all, it signaled one truth we cannot deny.
Ish Smith has insane ups.
