The Denver Broncos came crashing down to Earth after a seemingly charmed season that saw them grab the first seed in the AFC playoffs, due in no small part to the brilliant play of future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.
After losing the double overtime heartbreaker to the Ravens, executive vice president of football operations John Elway and head coach John Fox will asses what went right and what went wrong throughout the 2012 season.
Much will be made of Fox's late-game decision-making against the Ravens and Manning's brutal interception, but the Broncos themselves will look at their talent base and determine where they need to invest in the draft to augment what is already a very talented team. Make no mistake, this team should be back in the payoffs after the 2013 season.
Matt Miller and I rounded up a bunch of football fans, gave them hats and B/R swag, then headed over to Highland Park here in New York City and tried to figure out where the Broncos have the most pressing needs heading into the 2013 NFL draft.
Let us know in the comments below where you agree or disagree with our assessments and what other needs we might have missed.
