What Are the Seattle Seahawks' Needs in the 2013 NFL Draft?
One thing we learned in the 2013 NFL season, Seattle Seahawks GM John Schneider knows football. He continues to be a great evaluator of talent—from picking up Chris Clemons off the junk heap to picking an undersized quarterback in the third round.
The stinging playoff loss to the Falcons will go away soon for Seattle once it starts looking ahead to 2013. This is a young and talented team. They started four rookies in the playoffs who all contributed greatly in 2012.
Their defense is sound. They have their quarterback and running back. The biggest challenge for Schneider is to build some depth on this team. Of course, Pete Carroll loves to have a competition for every job (don't ask Matt Flynn about competition), which will make the Seahawks a team to be feared for years to come.
Matt Miller and I rounded up a bunch of football fans, gave them hats and B/R swag, then headed over to Highland Park here in New York City and tried to figure out where the Seahawks have the most pressing needs heading into the 2013 NFL draft.
